LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — In an effort to eliminate unclaimed autos in Louisville’s tow lot, Louisville Metro Police is internet hosting its first in-person public sale this week. 
The public sale will happen April 6 on the impound lot at 1487 Frankfort Avenue, starting at 10 a.m. Round 70 autos shall be auctioned, all of the autos are unclaimed and have been on the lot for at the least 45 days.
“We’re trying to transfer vehicles off the lot faster so we are able to handle among the deserted car issues in a extra environment friendly and efficient method so that may be our primary aim,” LMPD Maj. Emily McKinley mentioned.
